I've got Peter H. Wilson's The Holy Roman Empire ready to go for this year. The main themes for 2018 for me were cyberwarfare, cyber crime, strategic cyber threat intelligence analysis, and cyber policy. Most of the books on my list were either directly on those subjects, or were indirectly related.Lippardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16826768452963498005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15453937.post-91007332098265217322019-01-01T17:28:22.153-07:002019-01-01T17:28:22.153-07:00Wow. One crank whom I find particularly interesting and entertaining, albeit of course unintentionally, is the late John Bryant. You, of course, reviewed his "Bryant's Law" in 1992, and in the subsequent exchange alluded to pamphlets from his "Socratic Books" catalog.

I would be very interested in acquiring a copy of "Bryant's Law" and your other Bryant-alia –– if you no longer have use for them, that is. Thus, I humbly ask you to send these materials to my address, which I am happy to provide via email. (I will reimburse you for the cost of shipping.)

Yrs. sincerely,

ArthurAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15453937.post-66480670201959943702017-01-16T06:25:06.868-07:002017-01-16T06:25:06.868-07:00Hey - I've got one of those too! I've read about this in a book (a long time back) where they were actually called "screaming trees" so that's most likely where they got the band name, at least that's what I've always assumed. They wouldn't be the first punk band to take their name from Nazi/Holocaust stuff, i.e. Joy Division, and Siouxsie Sioux wore swasticas, etc. I know this is depressing to talk about but I believe that's where they got the name.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10262570588643181231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15453937.post-18628150606209770592016-09-21T19:34:03.376-07:002016-09-21T19:34:03.376-07:00Mr Paszkiewicz is only telling the truth....the tr...Mr Paszkiewicz is only telling the truth....the truth of JESUS CHRIST, which obviously makes the many blinded attack and very afraid, that's why the use the "law" "system" to prosecute, just like JESÚS suffered, but one day you will all get on your knees and realize what's truth!! I roast coffee down the street and around the corner from where it all happened. I wonder what Bill would be doing today if he was still here. His coffee shop (Daily Buzz), most certainly would have failed, as the location where it was has indeed failed several times since his departure (for various reasons). Red Rock Foods was not working. My guess is he'd have gone back into the tech business and been just fine, although he hated the idea of returning to it. An interesting tidbit that most don't know is that he had a substantial amount of 401k money built up that he would be tapping into by now; that's the part that doesn't make sense to me. Many bill collectors after him, walls closing in on several fronts, but he could have pulled through it. Maybe he couldn't stand the idea of losing face among his current peers (current at the time, which I was one of), whom all looked up so high to him.....victorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14845989593479353985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15453937.post-76122279764339194162016-01-08T08:32:36.781-07:002016-01-08T08:32:36.781-07:00Jim, are you saying Jefferson was actually a polit...Jim, are you saying Jefferson was actually a politician?Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03717704233301684798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15453937.post-76561038252068935852016-01-02T08:56:23.846-07:002016-01-02T08:56:23.846-07:00Chernew's book gave me a new perspective on Th...Chernew's book gave me a new perspective on Thomas Jefferson. I had seen one example of him writing one thing in letters while doing something completely contrary to his statements behind the scenes in Chris Rodda's _Liars for Jesus, Vol. 1_--Chernow gives the impression that this was somewhat habitual with Jefferson, at least while he was Washington's Secretary of State and where Hamilton or the Federalists were concerned.Lippardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16826768452963498005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15453937.post-21834110777784358572016-01-02T06:42:57.169-07:002016-01-02T06:42:57.169-07:00The only book on your list I've read is The Un...The only book on your list I've read is The Unbreakable Miss Lovely (excellent.)
